How do researchers study the effects of the media on audiences? How do they determine what kinds of media content are most common? There are a variety of answers to these questions, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.
This week, we’ll explore those answers and the insights they have yielded so far. You’ll also get a chance to try media research for yourself! Start thinking now about what topic you think we should study as a class on Thursday. I’ll take your suggestions on Tuesday.
